I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Ginger, I feel you on that, and I'm far more peripheral to that shit than you are.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Right now, my feet are painfully swollen, but I haven't been able make myself follow the doctor's suggestion of icing them. This is the beginning of my week off chemo, so they should get better in a few days. Right now, I'm attempting to stave off Wells Fargo, because I completely forgot that my home equity loan was supposed to be paid in full in 10 years. This is the same Wells Fargo loan that added to the ravaging of my credit score when Wells Fargo arbitrarily and illegally reduced the amount available. They did that to many people, were sued and lost. There's a part of me that wants to say, "If you can break the terms of the contract, so can I."

Thrive to spite them

I was going good and dropped a stitch , I thought, and picked it back up and everything looked fine and then I counted and I've got one 1 extra stitch and after turning the knitting around I can't figure out where I threw in the extra and how to get it out so I'll go to the yarn shop tomorrow.

I was talking on the phone with mom and working on the knitting so I guess I'm fairly comfortable with the double points now.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ginger, would a warm soak in epsom salt help with the swelling? It helps with my edema, but I don't know if it is the same thing at all. I'm sorry about the housing stuff.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

that YES, she is spamming us with too many pro-Obama reblogs, and stop preaching to the choir, 'cause she's cluttering up our feed.

2 of my sisters do this. And it's not just Obama, it's global warming, support the troops (one is a military mom), Native Americans and Feminist posts.

I AGREE with everything they post, but when I see that I have 100 updates, 89 of them are just those 2! One of them just retired and apparently has nothing else to do all day!

I have avoided re-posting political things recently to avoid family drama, but I may rethink that after today.

Ginger, you might enjoy Barabra Ehrenreihs "Bright Sided" in the unlikely event you have not already read it. A book length rant about what you are talking about.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I have had enough of hearing about disabled person who never let their disability get them down and still managed to do amazing things to last me a lifetime.
Tell me about it. When I was poster child, I did a lot of telethons. Nothing but that followed by tear jerking stories to help the kids. Hmm. That might be why I haven't watched the Labor Day Telethon in awhile.

I haven't gone to a SB gathering in a very long time. Too much being told I wasn't disabled enough for my taste. As soon as I was old enough to decide for myself whether or not I wanted to attend those things, I was out of there.
