Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Thanks for checking Amyth!

Ginger, i have 2 ribs that aren't very good at staying in place and there's usually a day or so of muscle spasms after the 'injury' and then also after the adjustment while the muscles freak about about anything moving (even when that movement is like breath-restoring magic). It may very well be back out...i'd go with lots of ice and a return to the chiro. Then, once the spasms subside, a good back/core/strengthening/stabilizing exercise regime to minimize future recurrences.

Thanks, erin and Hil. I do some back/abs exercises, but I need to put together something more focused.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Happy birthday, Ginger!!

My boss keeps looking at me funny and asking if I'm okay. I'm just tired, I guess. I don't know what look is on my face. A friend texted me twice at 4:30 am, and I couldn't get back to sleep.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My plan for today was to try to meet up with H and give G (the boy I was babysitting for) his presents from the UK. So, of course this is the day that the new window is finally in. So, now I am home waiting for the window guy to show up.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

sj, I miss you too!

Happy birthday, Ginger and Daniel.

Halloween was quiet. I didn't go out with the kids, but Greg said there were very few houses giving out candy in our new neighborhood. Aidan didn't understand--he was outside in the evening in costume, so yay! Kara was a bit disappointed. Next year we'll figure something else out, and I've told Kara she can have a Halloween party when she's too old for trick or treating.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm giving an exam in an hour and a half. I'm trying to decide if I should walk downtown and get dinner during that time, or if I should rest now and just get some potato chips or something at the student center. My original plan had been to go get dinner, but some more rooms and proctors and things got moved around, and if I wanted to go get dinner, I would have to carry about 80 exam booklets with me, which I don't really feel like doing.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Real food is the best option if you can do it, Hil. But exhausting yourself is not in your best interest. It's a tough call. If carrying the exam booklets is only annoying, go get real food. If it's a physical hardship, rest and just deal with the bad blood sugar.
