Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

You'd think. But, no. She starts work tomorrow.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Does Emeline start school this week? Because if so, I really don't care that your mother starts work tomorrow. Emeline is going to need those meds, and she is the one that screwed up.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

You'd think. But, no. She starts work tomorrow.

That doesn't matter. This is a case of the HEALTH OF HER GRANDCHILD. Her screw-up, she needs to fix it.

(I'm not telling you what to do. But I am angry on your's and Em's part.)

X-post with sj, heh.

Also, what Jilli said about not telling you what to do.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

If it has to be paid for out of pocket (which I'm guessing it will), your mom needs to foot the bill.

(Although I, too, am trying hard to not tell you what to do.)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Em starts school Wednesday. I'm going to see if we can get 10 tabs and have their neighbors send the pills to us Priority Mail.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ugh, Aims. What everyone else said.

In an effort to Get Shit Done, I overcommitted. Oopsies. I invited the Ukrainian rugby player over for dinner, and he'll be here in an hour and I'm not sure what I'm cooking. Well, I'm cooking chicken thighs and mustard greens, but I'm still poking around for recipes. And I need to clean the house (frankly, that's one reason I invited him over - so I would have to clean).

Got the house cleanish, found a mustard green recipe... not sure on chicken thighs. Tempted to order pizza, but the whole point was to not spend money. ::sigh:: I've got Nora's simple recipe from before, maybe I'll just do that.

Our wings are not tired.

When I cook chicken thighs for the boys I cook bake them forever in 1/3 each of olive oil, soy sauce, and white wine. Yum! Cover them with liquids.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Do you have the ingredients for a creamy mustard sauce for the thighs? Lots of recipes out there (many that look simple) and it'll add some easy luxe and the amusement factor of mustard in the sauce and mustard greens.
