[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

smonster, what kind of grease did you need that there wasn't enough of at a grill? (You don't have to answer that when sober.)

Typo Boy, your electrical system is way more interesting than they should be. I don't have any idea if it is safe or not to use the other lights on that circuit, so I can't be at all helpful for you.

All is well that ends in pizza.

2) Is it safe to use the lights in the other bathroom that is on the same circuit until then?

If your circuit breaker can be reset, any other outlet should be OK. Does your bathroom not have GFI outlets?

It does, but this was an (unused) non-GFI outlet right next to the sink. This is an old house. Each bathroom has one GFI outlet, and a couple of non-GFI outlets.

It should be okay, Typo, but I wouldn't leave anything on when you leave the rooms, just the be sure. I suspect that outlet needs to have a GFI and the wet got to it.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, man. I drank waaay too much last night. I don't think I've been this hungover since the Seattle f2f, for those who were there. I'm kind of embarrassed right now, I don't know the girl I was hanging with all that well, and she had to take care of me quite a bit. Somehow we ended up befriending a guy named Bob in a pink suit, and he came to Clover Grill with us.

Ugh. I'm at that point where I need food but the mere thought makes me nauseated

Soup? Canned if you have it? Or takeout if available. Chicken noodle, or if that is too much chicken broth? Or beef soup if you something fairly easy to handle. Or beef broth? Scambled eggs?

If it is a hangover, I know someone who used to swear by milkshakes (including Micky D shakes or Jack in the Box shakes) but never tried it for that myself.

Ended up making pb toast with honey and tortilla chips. Apparently I need salt.

TB, feel better.

Smonster, feel better as well.

We went to Mom's today and measured all of the furniture we're taking. So now we need to figure out if we can fit it all here or if we need a storage unit. The movers come on Saturday. This week has felt so stressful to me, that I have been saying I need a drink all week. I haven't actually managed to have one yet. I may have to fix that tonight.

Am feeling better. Cleaned the bathroom one more time because now I have to have it not just meeting my standards but where I don't mind an electrician seeing it tomorrow morning. Probably just needs the plug replaced, but since the spark not only scorched the outlet, but the bottle of hand soap 3 inches from the outlet we are definitely get it double checked. Even if all it needs is a GFI outlet, I'd rather a professional put that in. And I want to make sure the whole shooting flames thing did not damage the circuit as well, even though it is not likely.
