Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

TB, feel better.

Smonster, feel better as well.

We went to Mom's today and measured all of the furniture we're taking. So now we need to figure out if we can fit it all here or if we need a storage unit. The movers come on Saturday. This week has felt so stressful to me, that I have been saying I need a drink all week. I haven't actually managed to have one yet. I may have to fix that tonight.

Am feeling better. Cleaned the bathroom one more time because now I have to have it not just meeting my standards but where I don't mind an electrician seeing it tomorrow morning. Probably just needs the plug replaced, but since the spark not only scorched the outlet, but the bottle of hand soap 3 inches from the outlet we are definitely get it double checked. Even if all it needs is a GFI outlet, I'd rather a professional put that in. And I want to make sure the whole shooting flames thing did not damage the circuit as well, even though it is not likely.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I...kinda suspected you were a leetle drunk, smonster! Heh.

OMG, guys, we're having NYE this year, like we've had for the last two years, and will be having forever, or at least till M turns 18, since we have him for Xmas and NY. He loves it, because, weather permitting, our friends with kids close to M's age come and have a stay-up late and watch movies and eat tons of crap food slumber party, with a huge waffle breakfast.

And I found my NYE dress without looking for it! My sister took my skinny hisband to Banana Republic to have him try on and pick out Xmas gift, and I found this: [link]

It's NOT pink; it's a gorgeous, sparkly bronze, and it runs BIG, unlike most BR stuff. It fits really well, is very flattering, and is comfortable, and the color is slammin' with my red hair!

I adore it. And it was $228, marked down to $98, and everything in the store was marked off 40% today, plus my sister's employee discount...I got it for $51.

Total effin' score.

Much ~ma to Bartelby, Bonny.

Amyth, it feels that way, yeah. It doesn't help that they backdated the letter by 7 days.

I was social. I went to a bar and played Settlers of Catan with with people. It was reasonably fun.

We ate leftover Chinese and I caught up on last week's Walking Dead, and watched the new one. I am going to bed soon; I think I'm getting a cold.

Lovely. I have work to DO, nose!
