Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Everyone knows about [link], right?

Noted (and no malware warning at my end) and saved for future reference. I don't know whether it'll be sufficient workaround, Websense seems to go after content, not just address - like periodically I'll go to "next page" and it'll be blocked (near as I can tell if someone linked to something it sees as naughty, maybe? Or it always refuses to load the affiliate links page, so I can't give Buffistas Amazon money from my work computer unless someone gives me the link directly).

Anyway, I've saved the alt link and will try it before panicking if b.org gets blocked again. Thanks.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Matilda and Lillian! Adorable! But how are they such big girls?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But how are they such big girls?

It's from hanging around greyhounds which accelerates their growth.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I have a weird health question. Thursday after work (so, 4 days ago), I hit the corner of my head on my car's trunk lid. And it hurt in the moment, because, well, I hit my head.

But it stopped hurting within a few minutes, and I didn't think any more about it.

Until this morning, when I rolled over in bed -- so this is just my head on the pillow, keep in mind, a nice soft pillow -- and it hurts like I got punched in the head. No bruise, no lump, just hurts like a motherfucker, 4 days after hitting it.

That can't be normal, can it? For pain to start 4 days *after* hitting it?

What I'm saying is, I don't want to go to Urgent Care, but I will if this new pain means my head is about to kill me otherwise.

It's below my hairline, and there doesn't seem to be anything there.

Googling seems to indicate that Natasha Richardson hit her head, ignored it, and died. I KNOW THIS, INTERNET. BE MORE HELPFUL.

Sheesh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Websense seems to go after content

Depends on the configuration. All the installs at my previous companies were blocked by URL.

Steph,

yes, but her kind of injury (and similar) work quickly to kill. You can't possibly have her kind of injury.

I know, which is why I'm frustrated that I can't google my own particular issue.
