Lutherans in your AC? That sounds like code.
I'm about to give up on dating. Again. Been on so. many. first. dates and just can't get excited about any of them. I feel broken because I'm not interested in any of them, and it seems like it's been so danged long since I have been interested in anyone that I doubt whether it's even a possibility anymore. I have a second date scheduled in a few days and I'm not looking forward to it. I'd rather stay home and clean than meet this guy again, it feels like such a chore. Perfectly nice, pastry chef, has plenty of interesting stories but during our first date I was looking forward to going home, reading, and snuggling with my kitties. Guess I'm burnt out.
Whoa. I need to meet this guy just to hear this whole story.
Zenkitty,
please share with us his story if you can. I'm completely interested in his (and your) saga.
Yay, Zenkitty! I hope you have a great time.
We are in Denver. Time for sleep!
Yay, Zen! I think WYSIWYG is the way to go.

Mold/mildew. Simpsons reference via Teppy.
Zebulon. Heh.
le n, how's the new place and the new job?
Have a good trip, sj!
aaaah, that kind of Lutherans :)
women's belly aren't supposed to be flat
Except for those women whose bellies are flat, of course.
I was thinking more, actively flatTENED. Sorry for shorthand on kindle, ita, you're absolutely right.
smonster,
so the new place is pretty good. We have been here 3 weeks and I am still feeling a bit unsettled (boxes still around, though Beau has been a TROOPER at unpacking - something I HATE). I had to leave for four days for a conference in the middle of all of this, but I'm back again and there is so much to do before the term starts.
So, I won't know how I feel about the job until I have an academic year under me. So far so good though. I'm not having to shield my students from racists, yet, so I think this is bonus.
My house has not sold yet, but it is still early. I promised myself I wouldn't obsess until 30 days have passed.
Hec,
that is the cutest pic. Thanks for sharing. I was actually (briefly) in your neck of the woods for my conference on Friday and the cool SF air was welcome given the heat I have experienced since April. I actually had forgotten what 60 degrees felt like.
