You know, Self, if he wanted a cute young thing to have quasi-intellectual conversations with, he probably could have found that *at the University*. He's probably looking for someone in his own age range (he's 42), who isn't put off by his conversion away from religion (in the South, good place to look for that). We'll see.

So Z (not Zen) (ZnZ?) and I talked some more while cooking dinner. We rehashed some things, and got clearer on others. It's not so much that he thought I might be interested in girls, *too*, but *instead* of guys. That was the mixed messages thing. I clarified that me saying I probably wouldn't continue a sexual relationship with him if he slept with Other Chick was not an ultimatum, or about him, or even us; just a boundary that I felt I needed for my own mental health. I think that made sense to him. And honestly, I don't know if I'll stick to it. And maybe I will see other people, too.

So nothing is resolved, not that I expected it to be. I didn't invite him in, because we both need a good night's sleep. We still kissed good night. He asked if I wanted to get together this week before I leave, and I said yes. I'm feeling much better about it all, whether we end up in a relationship or maybe just friends.

On a total different topic, I have Lutherans in the A/C unit in my bedroom, and I am not sure if I'm going to be able to clean them out.
