My back is better, in that there's no longer screaming when I stand up or lean over. Now it just feels like I did about 500 situps, so every time I cough, sneeze or laugh it hurts. Also, all the codeine is gone. Why is all the codeine gone?

This is, however, small potatoes to others here, whom I wish to be well and peaceful and strong.

The little guy is better today but I still have to watch him like a hawk. Every time I look away, he tries to kick at his eye. One good swipe and it's curtains, ya know?

He did try to chase a couple of squirrels today, which I take as a very good sign. It was pretty humorous with him trying to navigate around the clunky cone!

I got a message from the bride today saying how glad she is that 'we are all working together again' but that she is still 'reeling.' Really? You are reeling. No question about how I'm doing.

It would seem the joy really has been sucked out of this gig for me. Sigh. And feh.

Moz the iPhone is dead and not coming back. Choices - stay with AT&T, get an 8gig 3GS for free (right now I can't talk on the phone in my house); buy a new 3GS outright for $149; switch to Sprint and get an 8 gig 4G for $99.

I so did not want to have to make this decision right now. And I so don't have the $$.
