Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, yay! I'm glad you guys are becoming friends! She's good people.

Yeah, I like her.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Hello! Having a quiet day, which means actual time to post here. (I read a lot more.) Hope you're all well and having a pleasant summer. It's still a bit of a rain-fest here, although we have had a few sunnier days recently.

Glad you had a good evening, P-C! (I can never think what hobbies I have, either. Which is quite funny.) The Nerd Dating thing is a rather excellent idea.

Shir, I'm very glad your friend is OK. I hope you can get in touch with her, and that her illness isn't too serious. It's a horrible thing when people go missing like that. I had a friend, years ago, who I was really close to. He disappeared. We were online friends (with phone calls and occasional visits) and both had mental health problems, and he was inclined to go quiet for a few weeks, so at first I didn't think much of it. By the time I did, there was no response from any of the ways I used to use to get in touch - e-mail address no longer worked, phone was cut off (he had been thinking of moving), no reply to snail mail, etc. As he lived abroad, and his name was common and I never knew his family, there was very little I could do to find him. I tried everything I could think of to contact him but, in the end, had to admit that if he wanted to be in touch with me, he would be. I still think of him and hope he's OK, and that he just needed to get offline and reinvent his life a bit.

Happy Birthday Scrappy!

And ugh, Seska. The uncertainty is horrible. I hope your friend is fine, too.
