Dude, this was your first Nerd Dating event, right? It sounds like a success, especially given the skewed gender ratio.This, especially. What was the ratio? 2-1? 3-1? How many guys walked a gal out? She might be real nervous about emailing you. She might be sleeping in. She might have a leaky pipe burst in her bathroom and distracted. Ya never know why there is a delay. Either way. You broke the ice for you. Use this as an opportunity to get out there more. See, you didn't burst into flame talking to strange women.

Was it girls or guys telling you this? And another question - do you want to date a girl who, in the year 2012, won't call a guy she's interested in? If she's interested, she'll call. If she's interested and doesn't call a guy who has very deliberately given her his number? Those are some issues, right there.
