It's funny that you guys are saying this because in my other digs, they were all, girls won't actually call you, you have to get their number!
Was it girls or guys telling you this? And another question - do you want to date a girl who, in the year 2012, won't call a guy she's interested in? If she's interested, she'll call. If she's interested and doesn't call a guy who has very deliberately given her his number? Those are some issues, right there.
