Yeah, me too, and I don't even have an awesome concert to blame.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I could have slept in a little later, but I thought I should get up and make coffee for TCG. He likes Amanda Palmer's music well enough, but it probably wouldn't have been his first choice of concerts. I think he had a good time though.
Wait, Tom's dad is alive and his son has to shoulder the costs of the settlement? Ugh Nora, what a mess.
They are - were - legally separated. And Tom is the executor. I am sure that Eve thought it would be a nice chunk of change for him when she wrote the will, but then her savings disappeared in nursing care.
I think some of this money, come to think of it, is to pay these attorneys in Scotland to act as executor in his stead, since he's not there? Maybe?
Sitting on a hard wooden bench for several hours has not made my body happy. Last night was one of those nights where I realize I have no idea what having a "normal" body feels like. Most people stood for 4 hours for the concert, and I have no concept of how that works. I'm not saying this for hugs or sympathy, just one of those "huh" moments.
Nora, it's at a place called The Middle East.
That place rocks! I would have loved to have seen that (and seen you guys). Pity I have to do epic planning to do anything in Boston/Cambridge that late (I HATE driving in the morning rush hour from Salem which is what I have to do for those kind of events; that or take the day off).

Sorry, Frank. The concert sold out ages ago. She is coming back in November to a different venue, but the tickets are much pricier so I sadly can't justify going. We should get together soon though.

Oh, I'm not surprised about that at all. I tried to get tickets to see her in Cabaret (I could have justified that expense) but the whole run was pretty much sold out from the get-go.

Definitely. I really need to make it down to Worcester some time. Are Victor and Thessaly still really busy on the weekends like they used to be?
the good news: With all the walking back and forth to the Shakespeare in the park theater, my knees don't hurt today. The bad news: my back and arms do instead. Ow. We are going to get the stupid golf carts just in time for when we don't need them anymore. Stupid bureaucracy.
Ugh Nora, I can't imagine making my children shoulder the costs if DH died. But I'm sorry, I don't want to sound too harsh or judgey. I'm sure her death has hit his father too, separation or no, and I know that people who are grieving don't always consider the impact of their actions (or inactions).
Sending good vibes to you and Tom.
Nora, that absolutely bites. Not what y'all needed.
