Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

I wish coming home wasn't still so hard.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Smonster, I wish I had a good alternative to bondo because that stuff is, indeed, made of misery (the smell alone...) but really nothing works quite the same. If yr working on wood there's that filler stuff that comes in the cylindrical metal cannister with a charles-atlas-type bodybuilder image on the front...(sorry, we used it all the time at the shop but I can't recall the brand name and a google image search is not turning up results.) It's a mix-small-portions-on-disposable-scrap-wood type of thing also but water based so it doesn't reek like bondo. Slightly longer working time and clean up is still not something to scoff at.

eta: aha! Durham's Rock Hard Water Putty

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I found my dishes!!!! Woot!!! (I'm trying to be patient with this hole in the floor thing, but not decluttering by unpacking thing is getting old)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Well, I managed~5 hours of sleep, which is a record for the week so far. *mild yay* Now that the drought is broken tonight should be ok. Thank heaven for working from home days, though.

My favorite regional dialect is "Yooper," the speech pattern common to the upper peninsula of Michigan (the U.P., hence U-Per, or Yooper). There was a strong Nordic migration there, and the speech patterns reflect it. Hence, "I'm gonna make some wood," for chopping firewood, "The vind she blow like 12 vildcats," etc.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Way to punish my resolve to get back in the conversation, people.

Hi, Shir! It is good to see you!

Sumi,I am sorry for your loss. Sending you warm thoughts.

Calli, I do hope you get high quality rest soon.

Aims, I am glad that the camping trip went pretty well.

Is there an echo in here?

Hi, WindSparrow, it's great to see your pixels too!

Calli, hope your body now remembers how to sleep and will stop sending you in the wrong direction.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hello, Windsparrow, glad to see you back!

Calli, I wish you sleep!

"The vind she blow like 12 vildcats,"

I want to hear some grizzled old man say this in a whiskey voice. Awesome.
