Way to punish my resolve to get back in the conversation, people.
Hi, Shir! It is good to see you!
Sumi,I am sorry for your loss. Sending you warm thoughts.
Calli, I do hope you get high quality rest soon.
Aims, I am glad that the camping trip went pretty well.
Is there an echo in here?
Hi, WindSparrow, it's great to see your pixels too!
Calli, hope your body now remembers how to sleep and will stop sending you in the wrong direction.
Hello, Windsparrow, glad to see you back!
Calli, I wish you sleep!
"The vind she blow like 12 vildcats,"
I want to hear some grizzled old man say this in a whiskey voice. Awesome.
TCG and I seem to be coming down with colds. Please let it hold off until after the concert tomorrow.

Watch Escabana in da Moonlight for some awesome grizzled old man Yooper accents.
"What's Your Number?" is actually pretty funny.(I mean, the whole idea of *too many* lovers is kind of Bizzarro World to me, but it's way better than the trailer.)
sj, try putting peroxide in your ears...may just be placebo effect, may actually wash germs away, but it keeps the germs from the school away.
My mom was born and raised in Escanaba and we have our family reunions there every few years.
I'm far enough behind, I'm not sure who needs hugs besides Calli and Sumi. {{{}}} to you both.
Escanaba was always the first stopping point on our annual camping migration through the UP and down into lower Michigan, ending eventually in Detroit where all the rest of the family settled. I miss those trips; there was always lots of state parks and awesome waterfalls.
Scariest time I came close to losing a body part was working in a yarn mill on the spinning machines. A loop of yarn tangled around my little finger and cut in pretty deep. If I hadn't gotten my knife up to cut the thread really fast, it very might well have torn the finger right off. Those spindles move fucking fast (60mph). I knew of two women who lost fingers that way. There isn't even a scar left at this point, since it was right in the crease at the top joint. I still get chills thinking about it though.
