I weeded my garden! After I called smonster, I was tempted to go back to sleep, but the cats noticed I was awake and so began to whine, then I remembered I hadn't taken out the garbage bin, so I went to do that, and fed the cats, and fed the porch cat, and as I passed the patio, I saw the bags of mulch that have been there for, oh, months now, and the sight of them offended me, and unaccountably I decided to spread them on the garden at the side of the house where they're meant to go. This is involved pulling out all the weeds and mint and wild onions that grew there since the last time I cared. So! Weeding, mulching, sweating my face off. All before work. Before breakfast, even.
Behold my run-on sentence and sentence fragments, ye editors, and despair.
Steph, I hope at least, the meds knocked you unconscious enough to get a good night's sleep (but not more).
go zenkitty.
somehow going on vaction and getting ready for vaction is extra hard when I need more sleep. My body didn't sleep friday or sat urday when it could . Now it will sleep but it won't wake up
coffeee
I had restless sleep, but that's because I was having a lovely adventurous dream where Cumberbatch's Sherlock was trying to rescue me from a female Moriarty type's dasterdly plan while dealing with rampaging motorcycle gangs. That's worth a bit of grogginess in the morning.
What a wonderfully productive morning, zenkitty!
I envy you this morning's dream, Connie.
Woo hoo, Zenkitty!
Connie, that sounds pretty delightful as such dreams go.
Can I get a tiny bit of ~ma for my family? They are putting oldest kitty Nutmeg to sleep this afternoon. She is 17 or 18, so a good long run, but her kidneys were failing, she dropped all the way down to four lbs (and she is a long cat), and the vet found a mass on her stomach today. She was never "my" cat, but she's been in the family a long time and they will miss her in the herd.
Sometimes I have very nice plotty dreams that make me wish for a dream recorder. It's better than dreaming about installing computer programs.
Timelies, All -
Much ~ma for the family smonster. That's so hard.
Met with a financial planner yesterday, now I just gotta start getting my act together on his recommendations. We agree that I'm not utterly screwed, just a little backward, and both think that I can get on the right track with some effort (from me) and some cheerleading/buttkicking (from him). And we had a little bonding about losing awesome cats to cancer, which makes me like him a bit more that I already did.
Hope that Steph finds herself weasel-free this morning.
Cool dream, Connie.
I feel like there was more, but "...being over full of self, my mind did lose it." (One of my fave quotes from Midsummer's)
Much family~ma, smonster. Goodbye, Nutmeg.
I just had to make an appt for Puppycat to see if I get her tranqs for the drive. I am going to cry my eyes out at that appt, I know. Because it's with my awesome vet that I have to leave and she was so wonderful with Kittenish.
Stupid management company wants to come by and inspect my apartment tomorrow morning. Not for move out clean, but to see what needs to be replaced (and, presumably) ordered. I am cranky about it. I am mid-move, I don't want people here unless they are packing fiends.
