Wishing you a successful weasel-ectomy, Steph.
Adult-type things I have done this evening: dishes, scoop litter pans, update budget stuff and enter receipts, walk dog, open and sort backlog of mail, put away a few articles of clean clothing. Now to put away leftovers, clean slow cooker insert, stretch, and go to bed.
Sending much ~ma to Steph and Aimee today. Er, tonight.
Adult-type things I have done this evening: None.
~ma for Aimee and Steph! No brain weasels!
This just in: Ryan's childcare centre has got hold of an incubator, and they're incubating eight duck eggs. They did this previously with chickens. Ryan is quite excited.
He has a friend from childcare coming over on Saturday. His first playdate! He keeps reminding us that Lucas is coming to his house.
Adult-type things I have done this evening: None.
But you enabled my adult-type thing of getting to work on time this morning.
Yay duck eggs! Boo brainweasels!
But you enabled my adult-type thing of getting to work on time this morning.
I did something worthwhile today!
Got a shot in the butt (which the med tech called my "hip"; son, when you go that far back, that's not a hip) of ketorolac, which is just an NSAID. I wasn't particularly seeking opiates, and I couldn't suss out whether the doctor thought I was drug-seeking or not. But whatevs. If a new NSAID administered intramuscularly will work, then rock on. We'll see.
My neck and shoulder muscles hurt so badly that I just took a flexiril and a half. I'm hoping the combination of ass-shot of NSAID and flexiril will at least dial this shit back.
Aw, Teppy, he just wanted to touch your butt.
