Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

But you enabled my adult-type thing of getting to work on time this morning.

I did something worthwhile today!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Got a shot in the butt (which the med tech called my "hip"; son, when you go that far back, that's not a hip) of ketorolac, which is just an NSAID. I wasn't particularly seeking opiates, and I couldn't suss out whether the doctor thought I was drug-seeking or not. But whatevs. If a new NSAID administered intramuscularly will work, then rock on. We'll see.

My neck and shoulder muscles hurt so badly that I just took a flexiril and a half. I'm hoping the combination of ass-shot of NSAID and flexiril will at least dial this shit back.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I hope it helps. I don't know what shot they gave me (I probably should, but I had a migraine at the time), and about 20 minutes later, I literally felt the pain back off.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy, I hope the meds help and you get some relief soon.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I actually got quite a few thing done today, despite the crazy amount of gronk I had this AM because of my shitastic sleep.

My poor little guy woke up with his first case of pinkeye, so he chilled with warm compresses on the couch today, with plenty of hand washing and a nice warm shower today. HOPEFULLY a docs appt tomorrow, if mom manages to get the insurance info to us.

I did some cleaning, ate yummy chopped salad with a cilantro lime dressing, returned some woefully overdue work emails and managed to get some sporadic cleaning done.

Tomorrow and Wednesday, I will edit like a house afire, since the poor noodle will probably be staying indoors, but I will make it up to him Thursday-Sat; he needs to do some chores and work on his summer school package anyway.

And then next week will be, hopefully, some new clients and DH's bday is this weekend.

I'm relaxing with some decaf vanilla hot tea, and hope to get some better sleep tonight.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I have happy memories of hatching chicks at school. Good fun for Ryan.

I mostly did house work today, like shopping and sweeping and watering and LAUNDRY. Oy! Luckily there was a bit of napping in there too.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I think so. He's already practising how to pat them. "Like this: t stroke stroke Not like this! t thump thump thump "
