BTW, Zen, Tim does not have Dita's book and would love it, and wants to know what we can send you in return. "What size shoe does she wear?" he asked. The offer of shoes is serious currency from that man.
Excellent! He'll LOVE this book. Send me your address; profile addy works. I wear a size 10.5/11 shoe.

I am giggling in delight at this whole exchange.
Just got back from a 2.5 hr mtg with boss. I really hope all this unpaid work time pays off some day. I did finally get some info out of him that will help me help him. There are many spreadsheets in my near future, this I know.
Now if I could just figure out what stretch would enable me to bend my right knee while walking without stabbing pain, so I'm not having hop down stairs and limp around the job site, that'd be fab.
Also, I think I'm going to have to put all my animals on Prozac or something. My cats never noticed thunderstorms before, but Bella ran to the door crying when I got home and was flinching visibly at each big boom of thunder. Storms here are different, and I think the lack of insulation in my house makes them even louder.

Insending shortly.
I wear a size 10.5/11 shoe.
No lie, that is what Tim wears.
I have packed seven boxes. I am now remembering the whole issue of where to put the boxes once you've packed the boxes.
I feel like I've only done about 3% of what needs to be done.
Though once I get a little bit more done, I can work on getting rid of some extraneous furniture and then there will be more places for boxes. Man, that doesn't sound right.

Men's sizes or women's sizes?

Women's. Ideally, 10 1/2 wide (he has flippers for feet), but they're not easy to find in the places he shops (thrift stores, eBay, etc.), so he resigns himself to half a size larger, since going up in size also adds width.
That's weird, Steph. I don't wear wide, but yeah, 10.5 is damn near impossible to find; most shoe makers don't seem to even make it.
While it was raining and thundering earlier, we had a crack of lightening so near that it set off a car alarm. Harvey was in Daniel's armsa being soothed; Sammie came running down the stairs to hide under the arm chair I was sitting in.
And the ridiculous perfection of Tim's feet being similar enough in size to Zenkitty's to offer fabulous shoes in exchange for a fabulous book is groovy, baby.
Oy, guys. The SO's tour kicks tomorrow. He feels like he's in over his head. He has imposter syndrome bad, so it's hard for me to gauge how bad it really is. I think he'll probably be okay, even if scrambling.
I am flipping out more over the logistics than anything. And I did laundry today, but due to the massive storm making everything take hours longer than expected, I still have to fold it and put it away tonight so he has it to leave tomorrow.
But I think I worked it out, mostly. I just need to not panic. I would like to pack everything back in my car, but I guess I don't need to yet.
