I got stupid. The money was too good.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

askye, those mail box places usually have fax machines. At least, mine does. Good luck! This is an exciting thing you're doing!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh no, Nora! Did she give a reason? And is Tom going to the dentist today?

Good luck, omnis. Not a fun way to kick things off.

Nora, sorry I skimmed past - that sucks! How much longer do you have her?

Askye, very exciting! Woot! Learning time! I second Kinko's/Mailbox Etc/ type of places. And some public libraries do as well.

omnis I hope they can get the hole fixed before you move in! Glad you decided to get the floors redone!

I know, right? At first I was all panic'd like I would have to pay for all this damage. Then I realized, no, it's structural, that's a HOA thing. Then I was relieved I found it! I mean. GARAGE! Hello. Carbon Monoxide Poisoning! Bad! "And he passed away in his sleep", yes, I'd love to go blissfully, but not yet!

Still no word from management company. I hope that means they are frantically calling people, starting to line up inspectors and what not. But, I'd love an email acknowledging that, or some such.

{{{Nora}}} I'm sorry.

The status is NOT quo.

Yeah, wow, omnis! Rusty garbage disposal is par for the course, but hole in the floor?!? NSM.
Wow. This. So sorry and hope it is swiftly fixed.

I... would not bet on this. Follow up aggressively, is my advice.

She found another position that perfectly matches her masters work, and I understand and all, but it suuucccckkkks. I'm so tired.

Tom went to the dentist and it's an issue with an infection where he had a root canal. So, they're giving him antibiotics and vicodan. and then see what to do to fix it, I guess.

Art Crawl!!!

Nora - I'm so sorry you're losing your employee. I hope you find a good replacement quickly.

Omnis - thank goodness you found the hole! And yeah - holy crap Hole in the Floor.

My sister had a similiar thing. She has 2 employees. One awesome. One, eh. She went away on short vacation. Decided while away, that she would lay off the eh and hire the awesome full time once tax season was done. When she came back, awesome employee had given notice that she'd be leaving once tax season was done. I forget for what, but, no changing minds. My sis was very upset. Tons of sympathy for you Nora!!!

And now I am on hold with my insurance company, because that spill I had in Vegas in Aug 2011... yeah, my insurance still hasn't paid the balance of the ER visit, and a collections agency is coming after me for the balance, and dinging my credit report! UGgggggg.

:: Breathe ::

Thankfully, the mortgage has already been approved.

Ah, fun times. Good thing it's the summer, so it's a bit slow right now. Work? Who needs to work? I can just make phone calls all day.

ETA: Well, that was nice. I just have to fax the collection notice to my insurance, and they will jump on it. Now. I gotta find collection notice in pile of moving junk. Sigh.

ETA #2: Called and left message at management company. Fun!! (yeah, not so much. This week will really test my stress coping abilities. So far, nobody killed, and no acid burps. I count that as good)
