[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My BFF gave me The Art of The Avengers book. It's quite cool.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think that anyone has reported that amputation works, for the record. So don't rush to that option.

I have all the migraines in the world, but clearly no idea how to stop them, or I wouldn't have all the migraines in the world. No one ever goes to the ER when I suggest it, so I dunno. I don't have abortives.

What are we amputating? Because I don't think people survive decapitation but I'd trying sacrificing a toe or something. Maybe. I would tonight.

Happy Birthday, zenkitty!

nasal sumatriptan from my ex-aunt-in-law because the generic didn't work for her. They've taken my migraines from awful to tolerable 2/3 of the time. In fact, I just took one mid-posting. But the taste at the back of my throat is pretty bad. Less bad than the full headache, but significant

If you don't want to swallow pills, I highly recommend (except for the price) the dissolves-under-tongue version. The nasal stuff was weird for me (though I also was doing it wrong--more squeezing it up my nose/inhaling, when apparently you're supposed to just sort of let it get all up in your nose so it absorbs through those capillaries. Or something). I dont' like pills for migraines because I get nauseated, but the dissolving thing isn't so bad, and works pretty well (especially if I can take a nap for an hour or two after I take it)

I skip the nausea mostly. Well, I get it. But I skip the actual throwing up so it is less of an issue. I might see if I can just get a script for the pills.

Oddly as much as I thought this dose didn't work, I am feeling significantly better after a while. So maybe it was a time lapse. No way was I going to feel this much better just randomly.

Happy birthday, Zen! That is an awesome gift your BFF got you.
