Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Cass, I am so sorry you had to make this decision, though I'm not surprised at the result.
I choose time with my dad. I can move again later.
This. At the end of the day, it's just a place to live. Family and friends, OTOH? We know the kind of sacrifices we're willing to make. More time is more precious than most anything else.
If there's anything I can do for you, please let me know.
Oh, Cass, I think you are making a good choice and you know that, but I know it's bound to be hard for you. Sending all kinds of good thoughts your way.
Since my last post, I got a call that my mom is in the hospital. Lesions on her lungs which could be:
- Pneumonia
- A Fungal Infection
- Lung Cancer
She's 84 and has had cancer twice already, so let's all root for pneumonia, shall we? She sounds pretty good, considering. They are keeping her in the hospital at least overnight, probably longer. I'll know more later.
Much Mom~ma, Scrappy.
Oh, no, Scrappy.
Oh sweet triple Goddess Scrappy. Ma~ma
The recycle and trash bins went from being: garbage, paper, ccans/bottles to recycle or landfill.
This means I can recycle anything I damn well please, right?
Oh no, Scrappy. I hope you get the best answer possible.
On the off chance you are not kidding, it means you recycle the same things as before but in one bin that mixed cans, bottles and paper. Check with your garbage service. This change sometimes lets you add certain kinds of plastic too.
There is a theory behind it. The recycling is tougher to handle mixed like this, but people recycle more. Whether it is a net gain I'm not sure. Our city does this, and claims they end up with less landfill waste than with separate streams.
