Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Wow, Cass, that is a huge decision. I feel like my compass points are all askew because it seems like you belong in Portland. Though obviously you belong with your Dad right now.

Neither of these statements are wrong.

I think I sprained my thumb last night. Slept in a compression glove and I have one of my old wrist splints on to help me keep it immobile. Apparently today really is a planning day and maybe a go through papers and kill my cheap shredder day.

I'm so sorry, Cass, and I completely get your need to move closer. If there's anything I can do from the East Coast...

Keeping your cousin's wife in my thoughts, Maria. Best outcomes.

Coping ~ma to you Karl. You continue to be in my thoughts.

There were other things I wanted to say, but my brain's capacity is at a low ebb in the heat.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Cass, I replied to your DW post, but I'll say it here as well: You are in my thoughts, and I will offer whatever love and support I can.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Cass, I'm sorry your had to choose between the alternatives you did. My best to you and your Dad.

Karl, my continuing thoughts are with you.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Cass,

what everyone else said but I've had one distracting thought running through my head all day about your situation...

how are you able to relocate? I'm glad you'll be closer to your father, it sounds like it is something you both need, but how can you manage it?

Being willing to walk away from a place and life I love, mostly. I have to choose, I choose time with my dad. I can move again later.

I mean, a year ago I would have said that I couldn't. But now the alternative is worse. I guess the answer is how can I not? I'm single and Puppycat doesn't get a vote. Though I am hoping she gets a tranq for the trip. She hates being in the box in a car.

And I am developing a close, personal relationship with the guy at the donation truck. Also my hand brace. I expect audiobooks will help too.
