Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Do you want to stay in Denver proper? If you find something south, along I-25, you would be between Denver and where Nicole, and I live, plus a little closer to Stephanie. Plus many of those hotels are near light rail which would be an easy way into Denver.

I gave up, and Nicole is generously looking for me. I'm trying to stay near you and Nicole. We're going to rent a car because we have to drive to Vail for the wedding and then back to the airport, so if we need to drive to meet Stephanie closer to her, it won't be a problem.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay, Merlin! Congratulations on becoming calibrated to your new home!

P-C every thing you are saying makes me think a consultation with a chiropractor is in order. You know, unless you do start shooting webbing from your wrists. In which case ComiCon will be your bitch.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

It was when Anne still lived in NOLA, and held the event at her house. My friend's band were performing, so they invited me to come along. It was ridiculously fun.

OMG AWESOME.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ballroom 20 is full? That's okay, I don't need a seat, I'll just hang from the ceiling.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Oh, poop. I'm checking my credit card statement so I can pay it, and I see the charge from Priceline for the car we rented on vacation, and it's the correct amount, so that's cool. Then several lines down there's a charge in the same amount from Alamo (which is the rental company we used) for the exact same amount. Balls.

So, I'm calling Alamo. Literally, right now I am on hold. Sneaky bastards. I have an Alamo receipt that indicates I used Priceline AND which shows my balance due is zero (since I already paid Priceline). Grumble.

t edit Well, that was fast. The person I talked to looked everything up, said I shouldn't have been charged, and is refunding it. I made sure to get a confirmation number and whatnot, so I can follow up in case it doesn't get refunded.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Firecracker Boy texted me this morning (he's now in my phone as Firecracker Zeww, so I won't run across his name accidentally but I'll have context). He wanted to know what projects I had going on today. No, I did not respond.

Sad news: Ernest Borgnine has died of renal failure at 95. link

I really enjoyed his work. McHale's Navy was a staple of my after school viewing and he always seemed like a genuinely sweet guy in interviews.

eta: what. do. you. know. I had not idea he had been married to Ethel Merman for less than 6 weeks. Heh. They were even more impetuous than Kim Kardasian!
