Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I am not only going to bed at 8:15 pm on a Friday night; I am super excited about it. Just gotta decide, Xanax or Flexeril.... I'm thinking Flexeril. Then again I took 3/4 of a Flexeril last night, and I have more Xanax left... Xanax.

My life, so thrilling.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sean, I hope you are feeling better soon.

Bonny, what a tough conversation. I am glad you stood up for yourself, though.

Smonster, you are well-rid of fireworks-guy. But youdid not need me to say that.

le_n, I'm glad you got your account sorted out.

I am trying to talk myself out of replying "hey, that's pretty catchy, what tune is that set to?" to my college roommate who left a lengthy diatribe on the horrors of the ACA with a repeated refrain of "Obama-doesn't-care" as a comment on a political cartoon I shared. It won't help. It won't help. It won't help.

But Romney cares? Mittens is the caring one? The one who will save us from hate and communism and health care and puppies?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Those puppies, man, they'll get you every time, with the romping and the licking and the chewing on things. Clearly, we need saving.

For one reason and another, I ended up listening to act 1 of Ragtime, and now I'm all about the Gilded Age parallels.

Thrive to spite them

Dad's here and we've had a nice time. Nice meal yesterday in Burlington. Nice drive today. Watched Doctor Who and Midsomer Manor. I showed him Smith and Jones and the first Matt Smith. Plus we watched Tomb of the Cybemen.

Dad had only seen an episode or so with Eccleston and didn't like him so I introduced him to Ten and Martha. I decided it was easier to skip over all of Rose's history and the first one with Matt Smith.

He really likes Matt Smith. I think tomorrow we'll watch Blink and maybe some more Matt Smith.

Dad brought his own sleeping bag/linens and a cat (not sure who, possibly Penny) PEED ON HIS SLEEPING BAG!

So now, tomorrow, we have to waste part of the day at the laundry mat.

Plus, way to make a good impression cats. I think it was Penny, she was on the bag and scratching to cover up when he discovered what happened.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Plus we watched Tomb of the Cybemen.

With the Second Doctor? That's a good one. (Though I think the cybermats are too cute to take seriously there. They were much more sinister in Revenge of the Cybermen.)

I know, right? I just can't. No amount of facts will convince. And it would not likely help to say, "so it was a perfectly reasonable idea for Romney to come up with so long as it doesn't happen to you? Or was it just one of his youthful follies?" either. "What are you going to do in November, write in Goldwater? Clearly you cannot choose the wine in front of the President, and just as clearly you cannot choose the wine in front of Romney".

Yeah, I'm not going to waste good Princess Bride references on this.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So has anyone heard of Nerds at Heart? They do singles events where you play board games. Uh, I think I might need to do this.

I've not heard of it but it sounds most excellent! Do EEET.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I did laundry in my own washer/dryer today! Woot! It's rather big for a stacked unit. Maytag. Looks at least 10 years old. It fit two sets of sheets and some towels easily. Lots of wall treatments. Finally picked the last color for accent wall in living room. Ended up in a red hue. The greens & blues just looked funny with CFL lights. And when there was a CFL and daylight, it was even stranger. Tomorrow is paint day. Mom has made great strides on the kitchen. I'd say if it's not ready for move in, it's damn close to it. M&C want to paint the bathroom and kitchen tomorrow. They are almond color, and paint in fine condition. I don't have the mental energy to decide on a color just yet. I keep telling them, when I move in, I can paint those without moving any furniture. LOW PRIORITY! Silly kids, so full of energy.

Oh, and I forgot who recomended the liquid sander deglosser stuff. THANK YOU! OMG, so much easier. Arm is tired, sure. But MUCH better than sanding. Less mess too.

OK, I'm gonna pass out while watching Luther. Night!
