How is the new house, sj?
Quiet! I seem to have insomnia tonight, but it is beautifully peaceful and I can hear myself think. Other than that it is still a little messy and disorganized; we're not feeling any rush to have everything be perfect right away. I love the colors we picked out. The kitchen is a bit of a problem; it's small and we have lots of kitchen stuff. It is hard to figure out how to organize everything so that I can get to it without having to ask TCG for help. I also really need to get one of those kitchen mats, because the tile floor is trying to kill my back. Sorry if that was more information than you were looking for.

Naw, house talk is fun!
ION, I have sparkly red toes! I skipped the shower and moisturization, since I'm going to the pool tomorrow, and will just have to do it again, but...TOES!
Ok, Bitches, help me decide: I bought two new bras that are v pretty (same style different colors). They were on clearance. But on amazon, I could get matching underwear or a garter belt/skirt thing. However, those are more than the bra (the garter thing is $38!) and I really never have opportunity to show it off, so I feel like I shouldn't. But but but...pretty! Matching! Skirt!?!

It's pretty and if you like it, can afford it, and feel pretty in it, you should get it regardless of whether or not anyone else is seeing it too often.
I brought color chips to M&C's tonight. C was going through them, and picked some colors with out any input from me. And amazingly, some of the colors I was looking at, she picked too. She narrowed down to 3 of them, thinking they might blend together well.
For the general color of the walls, Silver Tradition:

For the 2 small walls in the living room that you see as you enter, Scotland Road:

For the wall oposite the sunny windows in the bedroom, Creek Bend:

Obviously, need to do sploches on the walls, and see how they look. Not sure what flavor for the kitchen or bathroom. Oh, and a flavor of white for the baseboards and crown molding and door trim.
None of this is set in stone yet. Just trying to narrow down ideas.
Scotland Road is a pretty color.
I think if you're going to have an accent wall, it needs to be less similar to the other walls. I only say that because when I moved into this house, one room was gray with one slightly darker gray wall. My eyes kept trying to make them match and it was really annoying.
Cass - I'm sorry. That's really, really rough. You're getting extra ~mas from here today.
In other topic - congrats on home-owning, omnis!
It's aliiive, it's aliiiiiive!!
IOW, Zen called me and I'm up! MAGIC.

What she said.
Cindy, I just love seeing your pixels.
I'm jealous, smonster. Insomnia is eating me from the bottom up. I lay in bed for 2 hours, then gave up.
Blearch. I should edit. That should put me to sleep, and when I wake up, I can get other shit done without guilt.
And I, too, and happy to see Cindy's pixels.
