sj - I hope you guys can move quickly. Stay safe!
I also think it is fair to say that the bank's overall practices are coming into investigation. I hardly doubt this "mistake" only happened with you. I refuse to believe it.
This. Even if it is entirely internal, maybe we were able to catch something before something well and truly awful happened to someone else. I'm hoping so, anyway. That my file at the bank has a big red bitca flag on it now? I'll wear that. We're not long for them anyway, hopefully.
Thanks. There is glass everywhere on the porch. I don't even know where to start. My landlord is on his way over. I was trying to get in touch with father-in-law to come over to be here when he gets here, but I can't get through to him. I can't make TCG leave work on his first day back in over two weeks.
sj--ack! What a pain. I hope you find a place you like soon.
Sox, much ~ma for your DH's family.
Apparently my landlord is upstairs right now serving an eviction notice on the grounds on non-payment.
Ugh sj, what a rotten wake up. Sending apt-hunting ~ma your way.
Oh, meant to respond to smonster too. Brain slow.
Burrell, the first round had a hairball but the rest was just ick. She doesn't seem to have thrown up any more last night, though, so that's good.
My cat is often urpy for a while both before and after a hairball, so that may be all it was. Fingers crossed for you.
sj, ugh, what a crappy thing to come home to! I hope you guys can find a great new apartment. I couldn't quite tell from your post, but they didn't throw a brick through *your* window, did they?
Thanks. But if they're being evicted maybe we don't have to. We were planning on looking to buy in the Spring.

As are both of mine. Oh, the joys of cat ownership.

Yeah, Slinky has a multi-stage hairball procedure. Step 1: small urp. Step 2: large hairball. Step 3: small urp. These are all generally done in different locations of the house, but within 5 minutes of each other.
Toke, bless her heart, just makes one humongous gnarly hairball and is done with it.
Oh, the joys of cat ownership.
My DH is right there with you. He was mocking my love of cats (and frequent complaints that we need a new kitten) by pointing out that I was cleaning up hairballs and combing out cat coats this morning. But now I'm sitting here with my little old kitty curled up next to me and I have to say it's pretty perfect.
