Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My cat is often urpy for a while both before and after a hairball, so that may be all it was.

As are both of mine. Oh, the joys of cat ownership.

Yeah, Slinky has a multi-stage hairball procedure. Step 1: small urp. Step 2: large hairball. Step 3: small urp. These are all generally done in different locations of the house, but within 5 minutes of each other.

Toke, bless her heart, just makes one humongous gnarly hairball and is done with it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh, the joys of cat ownership.

My DH is right there with you. He was mocking my love of cats (and frequent complaints that we need a new kitten) by pointing out that I was cleaning up hairballs and combing out cat coats this morning. But now I'm sitting here with my little old kitty curled up next to me and I have to say it's pretty perfect.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Neither of my cats have ever produced hair balls. Are they doing something wrong? They are both shorthairs, so I'm assuming that is the difference. Not that I want to deal with hair balls. I'm babbling now. Back to work.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Max is the only cat we've ever had hairball problems with. He's also one of only two long-hairs we've had. On the ohter hand, we include hairball control dry food in their diet regularly.

That's what we feed ours. I think maybe our cats read the bag wrong and decided it's hairball-enhancing kibble.

I think long haired cats are much more likely to have them, and we have two long hairs right now. When I was a kid most of our cats were short haired and hairballs were not a problem.

All is well that ends in pizza.

You can also add a small bit of butter to their food every once in a while. It also gives them a shiny coat.

There are some flavored petroleum jelly-based remedies you can add weekly.

For those aware of "Mark Watches" reviews, Mark also does "Mark Reads". Today he started reading and reacting to chapter one of "The Hobbit."

Posting here because there are a lot of Tolkein readers here.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Hey, has anyone gotten Deena's current address? I want to join in on whatever we end up doing for them, but I also want to send Kara a little present, too.
