Oh, god, yes, Vortex. I'd be surprised if it wasn't totalled. My Jetta was a bit older, but it was much less damage. I feel you on being sad about
that
car--I still don't feel like my new (old) one is mine. But at least it's not a rental. I hate people in older Jettas when I see them in traffic.
And you can hate me! I think that's the car I got, but a couple years older.
I could never hate you ita.
As always, thanks for the support. I cannot express how much it means to me (and I think everyone) to KNOW that there are people across the country, the world who always have my back, are glad when I'm okay, and worry about me when I'm not.
Love you guys.
Oh Vortex! So glad you are ok. SO GLAD. Take good care of yourself.
Yay, Cashmere! Good to hear good news.
Vortex, HMOG. That is some scary shit, and I'm glad your car sacrificed itself for your wellbeing successfully.
Dammit, Frankie ripped his dewclaw down in the quick, and it's dangling and he yelps and pulls away, and my claw trimmer is too small to fit around it without pulling unless he holds still, and he's licking it. I don't know what to do. I'm such a wuss when he cries, I can't stand it.
Vortex, your poor car! And poor you! I'm so glad you weren't broken. And that you have the good drugs. I too know the love of a sidelined car, and I'm sorry.
I would consider the implant option, were mine a single tooth, and were I made of money that didn't need to go for other exigencies of living. But it's four teeth. I'm not going to live long enough to get my money's worth out of four implants.
But I'm glad the new dentist and staff are nice, Teppy.
Vortex, yikes! I'm glad you're all right. Good Saab!
Cash, great news!
smonster, poor Frankie!
Holy crapsicles, Vortex! I'm so glad you were able to walk away (and get the good drugs). And I'm in awe of the self-sacrificing heroism of your car.
oh, dag, Vortex!! Glad you are okay!
I'm glad you are ok , Vortex
