Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Nothing like an asshole who restricted his number calling you mumbling dirty things twice to get you up at 5 am. Fortunately, "Do not call me again" seems to have worked for stopping at third one, at least.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Hil, that sucks about your doctor. Do they offer advice for "urgent care" situations?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hil, sometimes doctors will reserve time for emergency visits. Maybe call them first thing today?

Burrell, the first round had a hairball but the rest was just ick. She doesn't seem to have thrown up any more last night, though, so that's good.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Wow, everyone is having lovely mornings today.

Hil, I second calling the doctor about an appointment and going to urgent care if they can't help you. Feel better.

smonster, I'm sorry about the ick.

Debet, I'm sorry about the asshole caller.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Well, that was pointless. When I couldn't get an appointment online last night, I clicked the link that it said to click if you couldn't find a time you could go. So it brought me to a page where I could type in why I needed to go to the doctor, and what times I could go, and it said that a person would look at it and get back to me. So I did that, and the person just got back to me, and scheduled me for an appointment, but not during a time when I said I was available. (I said Monday or Tuesday after 5 PM, or Tuesday before 10 AM. They gave me Monday at 3 PM.)

not your mom's socks.

Was this where my bank shenanigans unfurled? The update: while I don't have the letter back from the bank yet, they did phone to let me know they received my documents, and that they would respond quickly. It's been almost 2 weeks since that call, but it seems that the Comptroller of the Currency contacted them on our behalf in the meantime, with a case number, so it's possible that they're a little busier than expected. ooops.

Fuckity! The doorbell last night at 1 AM? Was the cops. Someone through a rock through the window. Apparently the teenage upstairs had a fight with someone yesterday and this may be retaliation. This is it, we're so fucking out of this place.

OK, got the doctor thing rescheduled. I'm seeing the doctor tomorrow at 6:30, which is a time when I can actually be there.

Sox, much ~ma for your DH's family.

Hil, I'm glad you were able to get an appointment.

I have called my landlord and the responding officer from last night. I've looked through the real estate section for possible apartments to call, which I'll show to TCG tonight. Nothing to do now but freak out.
