Ahaha. Yeah, I do that.
I just realized that this time at the laundromat with my friend is the only f2f social time I've had this weekend, outside of brief chats with neighbors. Not good for the extrovert. Must get out more, somehow. A dog spa down the street has started a "doggies and donuts" saturday morning playtime, maybe I'll check that out.
"But I wasn't at work. I was at home."
My parents' neighbor is a mechanic. Once, he was working on his own car in his driveway, and he hadn't propped it up properly, and the car fell on him while he was working on it. It took his wife a long while to convince him to go to the ER -- he was too embarrassed to admit how he'd gotten hurt.
Shallow makeup news: it looks like Aromaleigh is relaunching! [link]
I'd like in on the Deena gift, also.
I haven't been posting much lately, but I wanted to at least send air kisses and bracket hugs to those that need or want them right now. It sounds like a lot of people are dealing with ongoing low-level stress that sometimes can take it out of you more than a one-time, wham, bam occurrence does because you have no time to recuperate between events.
Yay for nesting, Nora.
I swear, my pets compete In the weirdest ways. Xusa is barfing all over the living room. Barf, walk two steps, barf, walk two steps, barf...
eta now I'm a bit worried. That's three rounds of barfing in an hour. She'll binge and purge, but this is a little out of the usual. Hmmph. No getting sick, cat. At least not until my next paycheck.
Oh smonster, one thought: is she perhaps having hairball issues? Or does it appear more serious?
Grr. We're home for one day and our doorbeLl is being rung at 1 AM. Note to neighbors: find friends who can count to two.
I woke up coughing again. I seem to be able to breath OK if I'm sitting up. I just tried to make an appointment with my doctor using the online scheduling thing, but that doesn't have any appointments available with any doctor at that practice at any time today or tomorrow when I could be there.
