Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ack, Laura. It's so hard to be patient and wait for things to heal, and so easy to overdo it.

Then we attended a 70th birthday celebration for an aunt. She danced for about 5 hours straight to rock, rap, salsa, everything.

I wanna be your aunt when I'm that age.

I has kitten on my lap. Bella is PISSED about the kittens, oh well. I think Mickle wants to make friends, and she's hissing from several feet away. A little while ago I had the door to the crate open, and Frankie was next to me whining because he wants to play with the kittens. Xusha sauntered up and flopped down on my other side, and Frankie GROWLED at her. Like, fuck off, these kittens are under my protection. He is so funny.

Good first date this morning. Works at the University, likes to travel, friendly crinkly blue eyes. I think he had a good time, too. There's some attraction there on my side at least, we'll see what happens.

Our wings are not tired.

We have new kittens at the office. I'd love to bring one home, but am afraid that Georgia would eat a kitty invading her territory.

Yay for good dates!

My aunt dancing non-stop to techno and rap with her grandchildren was absolutely wonderful. They also danced with her to oldies. I hope I will be dancing with my grandkids to their music!.

That is awesome. Happy Birthday to your aunt.

We went out for breakfast this morning and bought both the local paper and the NYT because we actually have time to read both of them today; this hasn't happened in forever.

TCG bought a new computer last week. He hasn't had a computer of his own for years. All his talk about not wanting to be on the computer when he is not at work has gone out the window; he is adorably googling everything he can think of. I think I've corrupted him.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

All his talk about not wanting to be on the computer when he is not at work has gone out the window; he is adorably googling everything he can think of.

That is charming.

Yay for good dates, smonster.

She danced for about 5 hours straight to rock, rap, salsa, everything. It was just a great time for everyone attending.

What a lovely 70th!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

1 pm and still no nail polish. Wound up weeding in the garden instead, then pool later, then nails maybe if I can sneak them in.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I had skating class this morning, then to the office. Now on my way home to wax my new car and add VERY important items such as my TMBG and Roller Skating stickers and my "My Other Car is a TARDIS" license plate frame. Tonight, going to see War Horse at the Ahmanson. Live theater, yum.

Scrappy, that sounds like a fun day; I hope you enjoy War Horse.

I've had enough of my pain levels increasing while my energy levels increase, so I am going to go check out the local gym tomorrow. It is offering a free week, so I'll be able to figure out if I like it before joining. It's too hot to work out at home even with the window AC on. Does someone want to remind me that I want to do this when I am exhausted tomorrow?

A beautiful old restaurant that I used to go to all the time as a child was destroyed by fire early this morning. The grist mill that it was located in was built in 1738.

Check out the gym, sj. Fewer distractions when you go there.

What a shame about the restaurant fire. The article said it was wiped out by fire previously too. I hope they are able to salvage part of it and rebuild.

Laura, part of it burned down before, but it looks like it was a total loss this time. They may rebuild, but it will never be the same.
