Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

'Out Of Gas'

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

They just opened an Ulta near here; I should check it out.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

One just opened here as well, and I do not know: how do you pronounce it? Uhl-ta? Like ultimate?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I had my eyebrows waxed once. They were really thick and dark, and I ended up looking like Joan Crawford. Haven't done it again. I'll stick with careful tweezing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is Ulta like a Sephora with services? That's what I glean from a cursory look at the website.

I can't believe I not only have a Sephora card, but I've also earned shit on it. I'm still holding out on redeeming until I get enough points for something without fragrance, but I think I wore makeup once last month, and that was because I left home without Vaseline.

Ulta is like Sephora with more drugstore makeup. They have half the store which is more sephora-esque makeup (minus a few brands) and then half the store is Revlon/Maybelline/etc (and things like brushes and hairdye and so on). I like it, but I'm a bigger fan of Sephora.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I honestly buy more at Ulta. Sephora is more fantasy shopping. Both are useful though.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy birthday, Teppy!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Happy Birthday, Teppy! I wish you gluten-free cake--with sparklers!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I have pretty brows! And Tim bought me an Avengers helium balloon, with all the characters on it. LOVE. (My actual gift -- LED poi -- are in transit from wherever he ordered them from, and should be here before the 4th of July.)

And we're about to head out for sushi and then to meet folks at the bar. And tomorrow I get to see Maria! Also the family flea, which is awesome.

So LED poi is neither koi nor food.

Thank you, google.
