That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit?

Zen, can I tag this?

Epic, be my guest, and happy birthday!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hey, dinner. Finally done. Take that, budget guilt.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Smonster what did you make?

I had a big lunch out with mom. Then I decided it was too hot to eat dinner, but it would be sinful to waste the rest of the coconut rice pudding, so I ate that for dinner.

I had Cherry Garcia ice cream for dinner. Because I'm a grown-up. I regret nothing.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I had a salad, all local but the dressing. And then I made the pasta thing I always make: saute eggplant in olive oil and garlic, add to diced tomatoes, add some fresh basil, season to taste, simmer for what feels like forever, dump over pasta, add shredded mozzarella and a bit more basil and toss.

It's the only recipe I've ever made from this cookbook - [link] - and I've made it so many times I don't have to look. Plus I got eggplant in my produce box.

Okay, I'm going to scoop the pans and walk Frankie up and down the block, to assuage my pet guilt. After I put away leftovers. But before I go to bed.

Sounds yummy! I had the biggest Italian grinder for lunch which I have been craving for over a month now.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy birthday, Epic!!!

Tep, definitely get the 2nd opinion. I may not have a dentical degree, but I do know asshats when I see them.

Tomorrow is my first day of summer vacation! Yay! I've actually been done with school for 2 weeks, but as soon as school was over, I went to visit my parents and then got back home just in time for the first week of camp. So, tomorrow is my first real day off. Yay! I see inside pants and TeeVee in my future.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, just a little more mememe. One of the guys I'm chatting with on OKC turns out to be my FAVORITE of the artists in Jackson Square. Wacky.

The guy that I had a date with last night? Is my karma. I'm the StW in this situation already, except a) I will not sleep with him and b) I won't string him along for a year, even if he swears he's okay with it. He's texting me pictures of the boat motor he's working on, and just telling me about his day and stuff, and I just. don't. care. He's calling me dear and darling already - he was doing that last night.

So I have to craft that message. I can't decide if it's worth it to ask him to cool back, or if I should just rip off the bandaid and tell him I'm not interested.

So I have to stop beginning every other sentence with "so". What's up with that, really?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's the only recipe I've ever made from this cookbook - [link] - and I've made it so many times I don't have to look.

I have one cookbook that I think I've only made one recipe from but it is so good and I've made it a lot over the years so it feels like buying the book was worth it. Though I should read through it and try a few more. The walnut sauce for pasta is pretty damn good after all.
