Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's the only recipe I've ever made from this cookbook - [link] - and I've made it so many times I don't have to look.

I have one cookbook that I think I've only made one recipe from but it is so good and I've made it a lot over the years so it feels like buying the book was worth it. Though I should read through it and try a few more. The walnut sauce for pasta is pretty damn good after all.

So I have to craft that message. I can't decide if it's worth it to ask him to cool back, or if I should just rip off the bandaid and tell him I'm not interested.

Rip off the bandaid. He's already reminding you of (a reverse) StW and that's not a great thing so soon.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I had a smoked pork poboy with coleslaw and spicy mayo for lunch. NOM.

where did you find this magnificent sandwich, pray tell?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Rip off the bandaid, smonster. You're not doing him any favors by letting him think you're any more interested than you are.

Today I found out that (a) one of my co-workers is pregnant again, and (b) one of my other co-workers is pregnant for the first time with twins, boy and girl. I'm happy for them, of course, but a tiny selfish little voice in the back of my head says, fuck, they're both going to be out on maternity leave at the same time, and that's going to be right about when they implement the new shorter-production-time cycle, and we're already short-handed; this is gonna suck.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Pans scooped, dog walked, bandaid ripped off.

GIRL. How have I had this multiple times and you have not? [link] Soooo good. They have really good food there. My mom still talks about the roast beef poboy every single time we talk. Every time. I've had good crabcakes there, though I am not a connoisseur, and I really like the firecracker shrimp poboy (fried shrimp with buffalo sauce). Right now they have a soft shell crab poboy that I may have to try.

*WTF, they're having a zombie prom this Saturday?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Hey, that's the place that we almost went on Saturday. BTW, talked to Lauren tonight, and she again mentioned how awesome you two were.

WANT -- Coffee Faucet

Hey, does anyone remember the URL for the cheap glasses place? I ripped a contact, so had to get a new prescription, and he threw in a glasses prescription as well, so might as well get another pair (especially since I don't want to leave the house because my glasses have a huge crack in them. I can't see it when I'm wearing them, but it's not cute)

Next time.

Aww, nice.

Vortex, do you mean Zenni?

Why am I awake? Time to try and fix that, I have kittens to catch and a project to prep tomorrow.

brillig

So people with disposable contacts that you receive in the mail or the pharmacy or however--how much do those cost per refill?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

For arthritic pet owners, I wholeheartedly endorse Pet Naturals. [link] Hip + Joint for Cats Has really helped Harvey who had begun stumbling and missing jumps and being cautious about moving earlier in the spring. Within a week of starting them, he was improving. Within two weeks, he was making the jumps and doing so with no fear. They are about twice the strength the veterinarian recommended so he gets half of one morning and night. They apparently taste really good, too, as he lgives me that "well where is the rest of my treat, you cannot expect me to settle for just one" look.
