(Because I felt it needed to be in a separate post, and I'm invoking the FPC) Dear 2011, FUCK OFF. Babycat Vlad made some truly piteous yowls, threw up, ran downstairs, and did the same thing about 15 minutes later. This, of course, reminded Pete of Tzepesh, and he is freaked out that there is something seriously wrong with Vlad.
So let's see, this week has had a HUGE stressful thing on Monday night, incredibly hard, painful therapy on Wednesday, the stress-triggered eczema making me want to claw my skin off all week, Pete on a super-tight, stressful deadline, and then a puking kitten.
I am all out of cope. But that doesn't matter, because I still have to soldier on and get stuff done.

Vlad is snoozing on the couch, with Erzabet next to him. I'm pretty sure he's okay, but I don't know. And I don't have my usual optimistic certainty about things being okay anymore. That's been pretty much beaten out of me this year.

Trader Joe's has been achieved. Defrosted lobster sauce is simmering on the stove, pasta water is boiling, and TCG is making a salad. Time to fall in front of the TV and start the very important task of watching everything we missed while we were away.

Musical distraction question: do I put on my Crazy Girls playlist (Emilie Autumn, Amanda Palmer, Tori Amos, Kate Bush), or the bandom playlist (MCR, FOB, P!atD, Cobra Starship)? Bandom has more shout/scream -along with songs, but Crazy Girls has the advantage of reassuring me that while I am crazy, I am not as crazy as Emilie Autumn or Amanda Palmer. (I too often feel like my crazy matches Gerard Way's or Pete Wentz's.)
I am also contemplating telling my chore list to go fuck itself and work on a sewing project or something. I can feel guilty about that later.
