Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Two hours of foam rolling, acupressure and various other maneuvers... and I'm still in a lot of pain. My appointment isn't until 3 pm tomorrow, I hope I can work until then.
9 am, and I am hip-deep in pain. I took a Tylenol 3 after work (that the endodontist reluctantly prescribed for me after the root canal), and while it's making me TRIP BALLS, it's done nothing for the pain.
I am not amused. (Though apparently very amusing, according to Tim, who wants to set up a live Web feed of me babbling about things.)
I was also formula-fed.
It had nothing to do with the hip pain.

I was breast fed, as a counter-anecdote.
I have one Tylenol 3 left that I could take, and somewhere I have a Percocet prescription I could go fill. NSAIDs have never done shit for my pain.
I think percocet is happening around 11 pm, when the Overdose Window is gone.
Kate, just one more person to add to the pile, but since I was adopted as an infant I was pretty much solely bottle fed. I have turned out pretty well in most respects.

I was breast fed--my mom was hippie La Leche league. But I don't know how much good stuff that actually says. :)
I am so over these stupid shin splints. Why? Body I am trying to be good to you and get to running and you persist in thwarting me!
Billytea just made me snort.
Kate, my mom breast fed me for about two months, but when she went back to work and my dad took over, I was bottle fed after that. It's all good!
Well, sometimes running isn't good for some bodies?
Kate, I do agree that your baby will be happy and well adjusted if you wean her, but I want to add that I found people were very rigid when I was having trouble producing enough milk for Franny. The lactation consultants esp were the worst. It was all or nothing. But one NP was supportive and suggested I add a bottle or two of formula to supplement and the nurse for as long as I liked. And then just like that everything was okay. I nursed until 12 months but also used formula to make sure my kids got enough. I just didn't make enough milk on my own.
