Well, then, this is a day I'll feel good to be me.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Compassionately intolerant

bonny!! I am meeting up with our mutual friend C and her husband P tonight! In half an hour, actually, so I should get out the door.

I only have one awful ex-friend at the moment...that I know of...but my forehead...and memory, are all scrunched up trying to think who this is. Considering that my history means I know someone pretty much everywhere, I wouldn't doubt it though.

E-me details!

bonny, maybe I was confused? I could have sworn you spotted C in a composite pic on fb I was tagged in. I hope she's not one of your awful ex-friends?

Wait, I think that was me! Say hi if it's not too late.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Shit!! I guess I had my Buffista small world connections crossed. Damn my faulty memory. I will email you both and see.

Thrive to spite them

Happy father's day to all buffista dads. I hope it's a good day.

I leave the beach tomorrow and head for home. Where it's supposed to be in the low 90s for a few days. I was hoping to leave the heat behind.

And I have some kind of virus or maybe a sinus infection. No pressure or pain. Just lots of congestion and drainage. I'm taking musinex and hope my trip back will be okay.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Askye, hope you get better soon.

New dream last night weird even for me:

I've written it up so far world building but no plot or characters. I guess for that I will need to do actual writing:

Here is a summary of the summary:

After the discovery that ghosts are real and can be materialized and controlled, the economy soon became based on labor from tangible ghosts. Physical and intellectual labor alike could be provided by these spirits who did not need to be paid, fed or housed, who required neither capital investment nor operating energy, who worked without sleep or rest. The dream of the rich and powerful was realized; they no longer needed 99% of the population for anything. Mundane and glamorous jobs alike were filled by the enslaved dead. The spirits of peasants from ancient Egypt to medieval France picked tomatoes and bagged groceries, while the more recently dead staffed offices and factories. Humphrey Bogart, Marlene Dietrich, and Luciano Pavarotti protested strongly, but could not resist the compulsion that forced them to replace living performers.

I may try to write this. Certainly fits the fashion for dystopias.

Visiting ND up in Pasadena. Of course, my car still has a busted A/C. It was a pleasant 74º in Long Beach. It's a balmy 93º in Pasadena. Maaaybe today wasn't the best day to wear all black.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We have survived our first party in our new home, and I think it was even a success.

askye, feel better.

I need to go upstairs and get my work computer and start figuring out where I'm going tomorrow. But I don't WANNA.

I went to Nordstrom with the roomie (after spending a bunch of money at the container store) because she recently had to get new sports bras, after hers were chafing, and I said let's get you fitted. I figured I'd get fitted as well, just for shits and giggles.

Well, roomie seemed to be wearing basically the right size...a bit bigger or smaller depending on the brand. Me? The lady claimed I was a 36D. D?!?!? I still think she's crazy. I feel like a D cup should be decent-sized boobs. Like, need support and bigger than an apple boobs. Mine are not. Also, all the D cup bras are big and ugly. WTF?

smonster - Jun 17, 2012 5:23:13 pm PDT #15360 of 30001
We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Huh. I'm actually a bit shy of a 36D these days (the cups are a little roomy) and, uh, I think I'm bigger than you. We can compare at Decadence!

Feel better, askye!

sj, y'all are way ahead of me on the party front. I haven thrown any parties at my house since I moved here, which is just sad. But hey! I got four kitchen chairs from a moving neighbor today, so I have places to sit!!

OMG so tired. smonster fall down go boom.
