Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Are there drives in the country that don't end up at antiques stores?
No. Not in my experience.
Some of them could end up at drive-ins. Or Dairy Queens.

No, those are in addition to the antique stores, not instead of.
Wow, now I want a Peanut Buster Parfait. I haven't had one of those in ages.
They don't have Rural King where you are, do they?

What the heck is that? No, whatever it is, it isn't around here.
I don't even know where the nearest Dairy Queen is, anymore. Hmmph.
Damn you all, now I really want a DQ M&M Blizzard.
Please, people. Tomorrow I have to do another day without carbs. A day without carbs is like a day without sunshine. Actually, worse. I'm not all that into sunshine.
Rural King is...very Midwestern. And there's free popcorn (this is a major selling point). It's a big box store, but with basically none of the polish that your Walmarts have...maybe about the level of the outdoor sections of Home Depot. And they sell very rural midwestern clothing (lots of Carhartt) and outdoor lawn and garden stuff, but also some housewares and cow and chicken feed and supplies. Plus some toys and candy.
I will admit to having taken drives through the country that have ended up at Rural King.

Nope! Not around here, anyway. There are antique and "junque" stores everywhere.
