Rural King is...very Midwestern. And there's free popcorn (this is a major selling point). It's a big box store, but with basically none of the polish that your Walmarts have...maybe about the level of the outdoor sections of Home Depot. And they sell very rural midwestern clothing (lots of Carhartt) and outdoor lawn and garden stuff, but also some housewares and cow and chicken feed and supplies. Plus some toys and candy.
I will admit to having taken drives through the country that have ended up at Rural King.

I've got the old-fashioned kind of windows where you have to put in a removable screen if you want to have the windows open and no bugs. Unfortunately, my windows are slightly crooked, so there are some gaps between the screens and the window frames, and some mosquitoes or something have decided to come in. They keep biting me, and also crawl all over my laptop screen, which is kind of creepy looking.
