I'm antsy, but I totally know why: it is 1:22 am here, and my board meeting starts at 9:00 am and I am still not done with the prep. Hello, depression, you sure helped with not getting things done this year!
However I only have one more major task to do, plus the printing.
And the first leg of our trip has been really good. The VBS was great! About 35 kids, normally raise about $200-300, raised $900!! for us this week. And then we had some great meetings and/or hangout time with folks in town here. Including a session with a couple of musician friends we have here upon whom we totally vomited emotional content and they were so awesome and sympathetic and helpful. And we kinda had to, because they called us on our "we're totally fine!" bullshit. Those are good friends to have.
So it's good. I just need to finish up this last bit, which I think will be financial good news when I get it done, and I can crash.
Okay, finished. Now sleep as quickly as possible so as to be vertical during critical moments in tomorrow's big meetings, presentations, and subsequent barbecue.
Sleeeeeeeeeep.

This is really strange reading. Not boring, but not interesting. I wonder, if I didn't have a coke, would it put me to sleep?
I am on page 27 of 72. So far, it looks like I can't replace the windows without permission. Can't have birds or reptile pets, but can have cat or dog. Curious, it doesn't list size limitations, as many apartments do. It just says, can't breed them, or have "unreasonable quantity", which made me wonder, who determines what is reasonable? It does say I can have a BBQ on my porch, but it has to be approved by the association. And so far, the only flooring limitation, is that there has to be adequate sound dampening when installing new flooring. Which made me ask, what is adequate? Also, since below me is garage, do I need to follow? This will slow installation.
45 pages to go. Woo hoo?
I have blinds in one window that I got from Lowe's and they are white on the outside and a cream/brown on the inside.
You can only have white curtains or blinds? Really?
I live in HOA.
It is okay, but since (already established on these boards), that I have decorating deficits WRT decorating, it is probably okay for me.
You can only have white curtains or blinds?
That's pretty common, because they want a uniform look from the outside. You can always put drapes in front of their ugly-ass vertical blinds.
HOA -- Home Pwners Association?
(Heh -- leaving THAT typo in!)

Most companies that make blinds now make them white on the outside and colored on the inside, because so many places have this rule. My mom got that kind of blinds for all the windows when she got the outside of the house repainted, because she thought it looked better if the windows all looked the same from the outside.
