[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yeah, he's totally fine or I wouldn't tell the story that way. But given that, they've moved on to the gnashing of teeth about the several days of driving, sunk costs that will pretty much eat up most of what she gets from insurance, and you know, still no car.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

the orders on the Lamictal say to take it with dinner. But ... I forget. I forgot yesterday. Can I take it with breakfast instead?

Aims, I take my Lamictal in the morning. That's what my doctor prescribed. But I also take clonazepam before bed, because the Lamictal gives really vivid dreams that make sleep not restful. The clonazepam is a time-released anti-anxiety med and I've been doing very well on the combination. My shrink says this is the way he treats all his bipolar patients.

As to the home decorators who like the bamboo flooring, what kind of padding goes underneath? My condo association insists on wall-to-wall carpet for sound abatement and I really would like to switch over eventually.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Aims, I'm glad you got the meds you need.

Okay, I went and got my brake tag, filled up on gas, put air in my tires, deposited my paycheck at the bank, done the breakfast dishes and walked the dog. I've eaten lunch. Want to get a few more things done before I go to the vet.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

As to the home decorators who like the bamboo flooring, what kind of padding goes underneath?

It usually goes over a thin foam underlay. Maybe they can use a thicker one? It seems as quiet to me as carpet, except that carpet is more of a thud and things like dog claws on bamboo make clicking noises.

My client seems as confident in me as ever, but it's going to be eight interviews and photoshoots over the next six weeks, so the main question is my physically being able to do it.

Oof. Energy and strength to you. So happy to hear your news yesterday.

so the main question is my physically being able to do it.

Will the interviews and photoshoots be spaced out across that 6 weeks? Because that might give you time to rest and recuperate between each one.

Aims, in reading about Lamictal, it doesn't seem to necessarily matter whether it's taken in the morning or evening, as long as (1) it's consistent, and (2) it doesn't affect your functioning (like if it makes you tired if you take it in the morning, or wired if you take it at night).

If you want to switch to take it in the morning, maybe call your doctor and find out of there's any reason you can't. Because nothing I've read -- and Sail's post backs this up -- says Lamictal shouldn't be taken in the morning.

ION, I have been to the dentist (where, instead of a temporary crown for the root canal I had before vacation, I got 10 days of antibiotics for an infection; the dentist told me that side of my face was puffy, and I was slightly offended until I actually looked in a mirror), gone to the pharmacy, made crockpot granola, made a quiche, washed several days' worth of dishes, and have the 4th of 4 loads of laundry in the washer (3 of the 4 were towels and sheets -- a normal week is 1 load of towels and sheets; I have no idea how they multiplied this week).

I still need to walk the dog, clean the bathroom, enter receipts into Quicken, take a shower (and optionally shave my legs), and run some vacation pictures through Photoshop so I can put them on Flickr so that Tim's dad will stop asking when I'm going to put them online. (Seriously, man. We've been home less than a week and I have a job! Cut me some slack!)

I need a housewife.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

For people with pets, the ASPCA store. And, considering that next Friday is Bring Your Dog To Work Day, you might want to get a nice business casual collar and leash for the occasion.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thank you all so much for the med help!
