Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Cashmere, my most sincere and fervent good wishes for your mother.

And JZ, this year has been rough on my ability to spend time here. I miss everyone.

Thank you, all of you. My life would be much, much poorer without the friendship and support I find here.

Karl, it is lovely to see your font, even if you have only a few moments to spend here.

I currently store books in my non-working fireplace.

I'm wacky-paranoid about things like that. I keep getting mental images of the books spontaneously combusting. No matter how illogical it is to feel this way, I could never do it myself, because every time I looked at the books I would see them catching fire and have no peace.

Ok, I was super bored and decided to see on OKCupid how much better or worse it would be if I dated guys. So I searched...and in the top ten were my ex-roommate and another guy I recognize. Really??? Really? Seattle is not THAT small a place I thought! I mean, I hardly know any males in Seattle, how is this possible? (there was a shockingly hot guy who said he's in the symphony, but mostly I want him to be gay and hang out with me and be pretty. Not date me.)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'll be off in a bit to the first business meeting for a big project that I've had since this all started. Perhaps I could use some "you can do it" ~ma from the inexhaustible store.

You could take a lot of the curse off the fireplace, omnis, by painting those two short walls a different color and putting a chunky shelf like an Ikea Lack across the whole wall above the fireplace and something like a tall dried arrangement, also easily available at Ikea, on the tile to the left of the fireplace. That would be a fairly inexpensive way to make it a feature instead of a bug.

(Okay, I'll admit it. I love decorating other people's houses. If I'm driving you crazy, please stop me.)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

You can do it, Ginger!! Go go go!!

Steph ( or whoever, really) Question: I *finally* got to see a shrink and *finally* got meds. I even ballsed up enough to say, "I also need some Ativan because as I get older, it gets harder for me to deal with crowds - even those consisting of people I know and love. Please give it to me!"

Anyway ... the orders on the Lamictal say to take it with dinner. But ... I forget. I forgot yesterday. Can I take it with breakfast instead?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Okay, when I find my new place, I'm going to create a website, just for Ginger and other interested buffistas to do what they want. I am hopeless.

Ginger,

you can totally do this. You have the power of the buffista verse behind you. You can do anything with that.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Ginger, You will totally rock at the Big Project! You have tons of invisible people on your side. It's almost better than house elves! Almost.

I'm happy for ideas. As long as you are not offended if I don't do them.

In a couple hours, I'm getting another walk through. Will take LOTS of measurements. And since the place is empty, get a chance to poke into cabinets and stuff. And hopefully, finally see the garage.

Also, it looks like my awesome view will have a great vantage point to see at least 3, and possibly 5 fireworks shows on the 4th! Odds are, won't hear the booms, but should see lots of pretty colors! Being a non-party hoster... how does one have a party with no furniture? It looks like closing will be the day before F2F starts. So, not much time to do anything before the 4th. But it seems like perfect time to host a party. Who cares if drinks are spilled on the carpet!

I believe at this point you should hold off until tonight. You do not want to completely change the time you take it and you don't want to take the dosages too close together. ETA this is based on memories of instructions following errors in administering this medication on the job. The rule of thumb with this one is if you catch the missed dosage when it is closer to the next time it should be taken, skip it. If realized earlier, then take it.
