Meara No it is not a bargain. It sucks, Barely better than being uninsured. 7,000 out of pocket. still sucks. Giners may be worse - the slightly better copay is made up for by the even higher deductible. In Wa state, over 1,800 deductible is legally considered catastrophic not compreshensive.

I could have gotten a lower deductible, but it would have been $200 more a month. I bet and lost.

Yeah not really a lot of good choices with insurance. Unles you are 22 and healthy. And even then most people 22 and health have so little income that the cheap insurance still may not be affordable.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

But a single payer system is just the wrong idea. Because it would make a bigger governement, and.. and... oh crap, I can't even pretend to argue against it.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

God, Typo Boy and Ginger, so messed up. I have so much rage against the current system, I don't even know.

After all, we wouldn't want government bureaucrats making decisions about our health care. For-profit insurance bureaucrats are so much better.

Yes, this. Why won’t someone think of all the poor paper-pushing bureaucrats who would be put out of work under a single-payer system?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I have been one of those bureaucrats. Even at that point, I would have told you to stop thinking about us because it was one of the most fucking ridiculous things I was ever part of.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

On the Frankensteins: The **** bothered me, as it was supposed to, but Miller's version bothered me more; the way Cumberbatch did it, you could almost imagine that it didn't really happen, it was just the Creature's attempt at something he couldn't/didn't understand.

Exactly - Miller's DID know it was doing wrong. And reveled that it made him more of a man (not sex; violence and betrayal).

Katie and I talked about the differences between the performances. The Creature and Frankenstein was very different people, due to the way they were portrayed, even though the dialog and the script were the same. That was really interesting to see.

They really need to DVD this for compare/contrast!

And the differences between the two Creatures. Cumberbatch studied people who'd been injured, and Miller studied his toddler. So C's Creature seemed to be relearning how to control his body, and Miller's Creature was learning his body for the first time.

I feel like the fact that Miller was basing it on his 2-yr-old might in a way have informed the Creature's morality as well - with all the selfishness of a toddler, but the strength to be a very violent man with it.

Ginger, Typo, sorry about the insurance suckfest.

And I knew about One Direction because of reading Entertainment Weekly, but that really only qualified me to comment on their hairstyles (mostly really bad), not their music. (And I try not to judge, what with my lingering love of NKOTB and all).
