'Lies My Parents Told Me'

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Ha! I told Tom what had been posted and he reminded me to "never underestimate the power of pierogi."

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

The pier behind the Jolly Roger hotel.

So the Jolly Roger has a lot of wood behind it?

I'd apologize but I am NOT sorry.

Yeah, I got nothin'. Well at least the "you're pretty" person managed better contractions than 50% of the posters on FanFiction.net.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, Vortex, good lord. Kind of surprised he went with :) over :p, considering. I wonder what cute animal would get paired with that bad date.

Glad your migraine is gone so you can fully enjoy your gorgeous vacation retreat, Steph. Beautiful!

Hil, that movie plot seems way too complicated. Madness!

Pierogies sound yum. Vacation also sounds good. I went dancing and met up with two of the girls from last night (sadly NOT the hot one). It was ok, but not great. And then bailed on going to the later club, on the grounds that I was out late last night and it tends to be filled with smelly hipster queers who make me feel old. But I had to walk past on my way home anyway and ran into friends and fly very pathetic. Especially since I then stopped at the store and bought eggs and ice cream. I feel old. And have no one to blame but myself.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Aww, you're not old. Plus now you have ice cream!

meara - Jun 02, 2012 9:07:21 pm PDT #14670 of 30001

And the ice cream was delicious! Lime gelato with graham cracker cookies. Mmm. Hoping I will want to get up early enough in the morning to go get a pedicure. I also have another sewing class. Yay!

Oh crap. And I just remembered there's this work thing I'm supposed to call into (I declined to fly to Chicago to work the whole weekend). At 730am. Argh. Do I really want to? But if I don't, how bad will I look? Hmm.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Skipping a thousand or so post to share my most favorite-est sunscreen ever: la Roche-Posey Anthelios SX 60 Was a rec from my dermatologist but I buy online cuz the prices are insane. (I decided I must be a grown up once i started paying more than $20 per tube for sunscreen/moisturizer/eye cream). I use the spf 15 as my daily moisturizer and the spf 60 for beach/prolonged outdoor exposure and the stuff is amazing. Very spendy, but anyone who has spent a lot of time looking at my skin recently can attest that it's darned good stuff. No zit production, no greasies, doesn't bother my super sensitive skin that gets red and painful with most all OTC moisturizers, doesn't sting like OTC sunblocks...yeah, it's kind of magical. I doubt that it's sweat proof, tho, but i suspect there's a sport formulation out there somewhere since there seem to be a gazillion la Roche-Posey options. I order online as I've never found it on shelves in the US...tho it was everywhere in French St Martins. Best OTC sunblock, IMHO, is Neutrogena dry touch for faces.
