New teapot pics are here. I've been jonesing for a Moroccan-style pot for a while. This one has a bird on the lid. Bird finial! Yes I know, my priorities ain't normal. The pot was less than $10, though. Add in the time and elbow grease getting it in shape to use, and it may turn out to be priceless--or at least pricey.

Just got up from a nap when Tom got home. Woke up a couple of times because of stupid loud scary thunder!

Also, I knew if I didn't go, or encourage smonster to go, I'd be up all night worrying. So, it was more fun to hang out with smonster. Sure, it was at the ER, but still! Smonster time, AMIRITE!?!? See, I'm actually very selfish.

ETA: ION- I have done work. Gronk is clearing a bit. Timesheets for TWO months (because I forgot to do last months) and a couple purchase orders. Woot! Now to do more, which involves delivering things across the school of the arts. Maybe the walkabout will wake me up more.

Sadly, no. There was a pretty cute toddler in the waiting room named Marcel flirting with smonster, but he and his mama left fairly early on.

Marcel's smile is a side bennie of New Orleans' lack of regulation, because I'm pretty sure that much cute is illegal in most municipalities.

Ice and NSAIDS, Vortex! Don't walk through shinsplint pain, you can get hairline fractures in your tibia! Also, if you don't let them heal they come right back (I know, they've been bugging me since the beginning of the year)
