[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Pop tarts: Pix, I hope things settle down and your brain will let you get the sleep you need.

Mwahahhaah! Scrappy's email is now MINE, and I will do EEEEVIL things...ok, maybe not. I can't even get up the gumption to do some work, much less heinous evil.
Strix, I facebooked you because I didn't have your email
omnis, I'm an independent contractor right now. Plus, have no idea what caused it - no visible punctures or scrapes on that hand at this time.Ugg. Sorry to hear that. Well. Just trying to think of some solution. (and wonders why we, as a nation, are so against single payer healthcare???)
Because someone might get away with something. Somewhere. Somehow.
Puritans hate that.
Bev, I've heard of using a denture-cleaning tablet in water and of rubbing with a baking-soda paste. If it were my silver, I'd probably also try peroxide.
smonster, glad you were to the ER and glad Nora was there for you. Blood poisoning, holy shit, not good. Also glad you got a doctor who knows her stuff!
Steph, I'm sorry you have a migraine and sorry you have to work anyway!
Me news: I found a gorgeous vintage pot in wonderful shape, and now I'm wondering, does anybody know a good method for removing years of accrued tea stain from silverplate?
I've used a paste made from baking soda and water to clean silver plate, and it worked pretty well.
