Don't worry, quester. Bitches lives.
Zen, IDK what size you're wearing currently, but here's one long-sleeved t-shirt option that goes up to a Misses XL: [link]
Another long-sleeve option, in a scoopneck
'Sleeper'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

quester, I feel your financial pain, and the related self-esteem issues.
Nora, the cranky is back. Apparently I just need to keep drinking. Also, remind me not to go into Walgreens while tipsy? I spent AN HOUR AND A HALF wandering around, dithering on prices, ogling nail polish, etc. And then couldn't even use one of my two coupons because "hand cream" doesn't qualify as "hand lotion."
Don't wanna play tour guide this weekend. Don't wanna be bright sparkly "love my life in NOLA" smonster. Wanna be pouty "hand stapled to forehead" smonster.
And, damn, I have failed that particular fail more than once myself. It sucks, and I'm sorry.
Thank you, JZ, I like those! I'm currently in a 2x.
Not getting any traction is right. Pretty soon I will have to renew the forbearance on my student loan...again. I think I'm getting somewhere and BAM! The shit gets deep again!

Um, maybe keep drinking through the weekend?
Um, maybe keep drinking through the weekend?
Not when I'm also the chauffeur, sadly. I can't decide if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I have no mixers for the alcohol I have in the house. Nothing like sublimating sadness with anger...
Do you have to hang out every day and night or can you, like, let them loose to do their own thing?
Still working on all the other things, but, for meara -- with the huge caveat that my bars'n'clubbing style is probably a pretty far cry from yours -- here are some possibly night-out-worthy alternatives to the collection of boring t-shirts in basic colors:
For basic could-go-under-a-leather-jacket or all-on-its-own, there’s this top in orange, or in green. And I'm pretty sure these aren't exactly edgy, but these t-shirts are definitely not boring or basic.
Note to self: should the occasion arise, JZ = most excellent personal shopper.
