Buffy ,'Chosen'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sure, just as I get a head of steam going, and making some progress, I gotta go to a meeting. Blargh.
Happy Birthday Vortex. And for perspective, I'm 52. So if you have entered your 5th decade, I'm well into my sixth.
[Edited to make ita ! look crazy.]
I entered my 4th decade over 12 years ago
22 years ago, to be accurate.
Happy Birthday Vortex!
I had a birthday ... I turned 60 ... sigh ....
Happy birthday Vortex!
Steph, I've been thinking about your brother a lot and just sending good thoughts and vibes his way and yours.
I know he's got a really strong support system with you and his wife.
One of Mom's best friends is a recovering alcoholic and it's been 4 or 5 years since she started recovery and she goes to AA meetings every day. For awhile she was going 2x a day. She's said that was huge helping her stay sober and accountable. I know AA isn't for everyone but I hope your brother can find a support system that will work for him like that.

Is he a reader, Teppy? I have an excess of books on dead trees.
I have a theme song. It's Springsteen's "One Step Up."
How are you feeling these days, Ginger? And where are you treatment-wise? Feel free to NOT answer these questions if you just don't feel like talking about it.
