Thanks, also, everyone else. I really appreciated the support yesterday. I'm a little bit sad to be letting go of this friendship because her son means a lot to me and I now see that if he communicates with me, it will go badly for him. But, in truth, I'm just relieved.
One of the benefits of age is that I am pretty comfortable with the content of my character and have very little patience with what we old codgers used to call "Peyton Place" drama. I really do like certain things about this woman, but not nearly enough to struggle for it.
